Highway 3 is a traffic artery connecting Cambodia's capital Phnom Penh and Kampot, the provincial capital city of Kampot Province. A large number of energy and materials are transported to all parts of Cambodia through this passage, and it is the most important "land lifeline" in Cambodia. The completion of the Project will further enhance the transport capacity of Cambodia's road network, which is of great significance in promoting regional stability and coordinated economic development in the southwest coastal areas of Cambodia.
