Philippine President Attends the Opening Ceremony of CLLE Project
On July 15, the opening ceremony of Phase I of the Central Luzon Link Expressway Project was held in the Philippines. Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte and Minister of Public Works Mark A. Villar attended and addressed the ceremony, and CRBC, as the construction unit of Bid 2, was invited to attend the ceremony.

On behalf of the Philippine Government, Duterte expressed his gratitude to all parties involved in the Project and noted that the Philippine Government would remain committed to fulfilling its mission of providing a more comfortable life for all Philippine people and ensuring the smooth implementation of all infrastructure projects.

Mark A. Villar thanked the project contractor for overcoming the adverse weather and the impact of COVID-19 during the implementation of the Project by focusing on both epidemic prevention and production and ensuring the smooth operation of the Project. He pointed out that the Project is a flagship project of the Philippine government's "Great Construction" program and is also a milestone project of the Philippine Department of Public Works.
After the unveiling ceremony, Duterte and Mark A. Villar once again expressed congratulations to the representatives of the participating units.

In his communication with the Company's representatives, Mark A. Villar recognized the Company's management and performance in terms of quality, project schedule and safety during the implementation of the Project. He pointed out that the successful completion of the Project will be a flag of CRBC in the infrastructure market of the Philippines, and he looked forward to further cooperation between the two sides to ensure the efficient and high-quality completion of other projects under construction.
The Bid 2 of Phase I of the Central Luzon Link Expressway is located in Central Luzon Island, 150 kilometers north of Manila, capital of the Philippines, with a total length of 6.4 kilometers, a designed speed of 100 kilometers per hour and a two-way four-lane main line. The main works include the construction of a 1.4km-long super-large bridge and the treatment of a large number of soft foundations, high fill subgrades, etc. The Project is an important part of the construction of the highway network in Luzon, the largest island in the Philippines. The completion of the Project will open up the lifeline of urban traffic in the north of Luzon Island and play an important role in promoting the transportation and economic development of the capital area of the Philippines
