The Company Signed the Commercial Contract for the Karakalpakstan Road Project of the CAREC Corridor 2
Recently, the Company signed a commercial contract with the Government of Uzbekistan on the Karakalpakstan Road Project Package 2 of the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation ( CAREC)Corridor 2. Kuljonov Farkhod, Chairman of the Road Fund of the National Road Commission of Uzbekistan, attended the signing ceremony as the employer's representative. Vice Chairman Abdinabi Himmatov and Deputy General Manager Zhang Junwu signed the contract on behalf of both sides.
Kuljonov congratulated CRBC on winning the bid, affirmed the achievements made by the Company on the 20-kilometer Namankan Project under construction, and believed that CRBC would complete the construction tasks of the newly-signed project as promised. Kujonov hoped that CRBC will participate in more infrastructure construction in Uzbekistan and make more efforts and contributions to improving the local people's livelihood and economy.
Zhang Junwu thanked the Uzbek government for its long-term strong support in the Company's development, and said that the Company would overcome various difficulties, pool its advantageous resources, and complete the project construction tasks on time with guaranteed quality and quantity, building another high-quality project for Uzbekistan.
The Karakalpakstan Road Project Package 2 covers a total length of 120 kilometers and serves as a section of the A380 international trunk line in Uzbekistan, which directly connects to the Aktau Port in Kazakhstan. The Project bears great significance to promoting the development of regional economic cooperation in Central Asia.
